Boeing Celebrates Rollout of 787 Dreamliner

Boeing unveiled on July 8 the 787 Dreamliner during a one-hour ceremony at its Everett, Wash., final assembly facility, attended by nearly 15,000 employees, airline customers, supplier partners and government officials. The event was broadcast live via satellite worldwide and webcast, potentially reaching 100 million or more viewers.

VH-71 Presidential helicopter test vehicle #2 (TV-2) conducts its maiden flight from AgustaWestland’s facility at Yeovil, UK, on July 3, 2007. The new “Marine One” will be the world’s most technologically advanced helicopter that will safely and reliably transport the president and vice president of the United States, heads of state and other official parties both at home and abroad with mobile “Oval Office in the sky” capabilities.



Assembly Progressing on Boeing 787 Dreamliner

LE BOURGET, France, June 23, 2007 – Progress continues on the final assembly of the all-new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This picture, taken June 13, shows the horizontal stabilizers attached to the tailcone with the vertical fin in the background. Mike Bair, 787 vice president and general manager, told media at the Paris Air Show that installation of both these assemblies is now complete. Final assembly of the first 787 began on May 21 at the Boeing facility in Everett, Wash. The Dreamliner is on schedule to roll out on July 8, 2007.
